  1. I hope that Christian is safe following the awful weather and terrible news from Anapurna Trail this week. Best Wishes from the UK.

    • Hi Amanda,i am back in Valgardena ….we never had any big problem because of the weather…onestly we did not knew any thing about all the accidents that happened in the Annapurna region even if we were not far away form ther as well….we summited the Himlung…and came back happy :-) thanks for writing…regards Christian

    • Hi Amanda, hope to hear again of you

      • Hi Christian – great to hear from you! I read your post in September about preparations for your next Himalaya adventure. Was the trip a success? The only mountains I have seen this year – apart from Dolomiti in January – have been in the UK so not as spectacular as you have seen. I am looking forward to being back in Val Gardena in February or March – perhaps I can hear more about your recent adventures then.

With best wishes to you and your family this Christmas.

        Amanda

      • I will look out for your pictures. I have a question – can you recommend a guide for off piste skiing in Val Gardena? My friend who visits with me in February is a very good skier and wants to ski the Mezdi Valley, if there is snow. Gardena Guides perhaps? Thanks!

  2. Hi Christian. We are back in Selva this week so will visit the Pralong for a drink and to say hello – perhaps hear about your last trip to the Himalaya. Great snow here this week!
